How to Enable System Restore in Windows 10

Though Microsoft has provided System Recovery and other options to recover Windows 10 from errors, System Restore is still a good way to restore your system to a good working state. But in Windows 10 system protection is disabled by default. So, in order to use the benefits of System Restore in Windows 10, you will have to enable System Protection first.

This tutorial shows you how to enable System Restore in Windows 10. To do so, you have to enable System Protection for C drive i.e. the drive on which Windows 10 is installed. After you enable System Protection, Windows will automatically create restore points whenever you make major changes to Windows. You can even create a restore point manually.

If protection for C or System drive is Off, it means System Restore is not enabled. So, we can’t use System Restore in Windows 10 yet.
