Login Without Entering Username And Password.
We all want to protect our systems from unauthorized use. That’s why we set strong passwords on our Windows systems. But if you are using your system alone, means nobody else touches your system and you are tired of entering long password every time, then you can disable your Windows login screen and go directly to your desktop. It means you don’t need to enter a password for logging into Windows. You will be logged in using a pre-configured default account.
You do not require any third party software to do this, you can do this just by using User Accounts utility which is available in Windows already.
How To Disable Windows Login Screen?
First open Run utility by pressing Windows Key + R, then type netplwiz and press Enter.
User Accounts management utility will start.
Uncheck the check-box next to “User must enter a user name and password to use this computer” and click Apply.
A pop-up window will appear. Now, you have to create a temporary User, using which, you will be logged into your PC. Enter a Username and Password in the boxes provided and click OK. You will be logged in using this account. Windows will not ask you for password on logon screen, it will just login using these details.
Click OK on User Accounts window to exit the utility.
Now, it’s the time to test this. Restart your computer. Start > Power > Restart.
When your PC will reboot, you will not be prompted for password. Windows will login automatically and take you to desktop.
You have successfully bypassed Windows Login Screen. This is not a safe option though, if somebody has access to your PC, he can cause accountable harm to you.
