[Fixed/Solved]: Bluestack Installation Failed MSI Log File Error | Incompatible Program And Certificate Error
If you have faced this error while installing BlueStacks on your PC, then you are a right place-
“Hmm… it seems Bluestack App Player couldn’t be install on this computer. We’d love to fix the problem – can you help us? Search your Computer for the file:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\MSI579fa.LOG
and email it to us at [email protected] Thanks!”
This problem usually occurs when you try to install a full version of BlueStacks using MSI installer. Reasons of this error are Program Incompatibility and some Certificate error. So in order to solve this problem, First we will have to fix Compatibility Issue and then Solve the Certificate Error. How to fix Bluestack Installation Failed MSI Log File Error?
Step 1
First, go to the folder where you have BlueStacks installation file, i.e. MSI file. Right-click on it and select Properties.
Step 2
In Properties window, click on Compatibility tab and check the box next to “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and finally click on Apply. DO NOT click on OK, we need to make some other changes too.
We are done with Compatibility issue. Now, we will solve certificate issue.
Step 3
In Properties window, click on Digital Signatures tab. You will see a certificate, select it and click on Details.
Certificate details window will open, click on Install Certificate.
Step 4
Certificate Import Wizard will start. Follow on screen instructions to import certificate.
Finally, click on OK to close the certificate import wizard.
Step 5
Now, it’s time to run BlueStacks installation again. This time BlueStacks will be installed successfully.
