How To Perform System Restore In Windows 8 or 8.1

In Control Panel‘s search box type “recovery“. You will see Recovery option in search results, click on it. It’ll open Advance Recovery Tools for you.

In Advanced Recovery Tools, click on Open System Restore.

System Restore window will open where you can choose options to perform System Restore in Windows 8 or 8.1

In the System Restore window, you will see two options. Click on the desired option to start System Restore in Windows 8 or 8.1. You can select Recommended Restore or you can alternatively select Choose a different restore point. In case you want to restore your system to another Restore point, select second option and click Next.

Now you will see the list of available Restore points. You can select a restore point prior to system crash. Select your desired restore point to start System Restore in Windows 8 or 8.1. After selecting a Restore point, click Next.
