How To Perform System Restore In Windows 8 or 8.1

Step 1

In the System Restore window, you will see two options. Click on the desired option to start System Restore in Windows 8 or 8.1. You can select Recommended Restore or you can alternatively select Choose a different restore point. In case you want to restore your system to another Restore point, select second option and click Next.


Step 5

Now you will see the list of available Restore points. You can select a restore point prior to system crash. Select your desired restore point to start System Restore in Windows 8 or 8.1. After selecting a Restore point, click Next.


Step 6

Now you are ready to “perform System Restore in Windows 8 or 8.1“. Click Finish to start system restore process in Windows 8 or 8.1.


You will see a warning message telling you that you can’t stop system restore once started. Click on Yes to continue System restore process in Windows 8 or 8.1.


Now your PC will perform system restore operation in Windows 8. It may take some time. Sit back and relax.

Step 7

After performing System Restore, you PC will restart. If restore operation in Windows 8 or 8.1 were successful, it will show you a message about successful System Restore.
