How To Save Webpages as PDF using Google Chrome

People do lots of activities online like shopping, booking flights, paying bills, filling forms etc. Sometimes, we need to save these documents (e.g. bills etc.) or forms for future reference. Saving a web page is not reliable but converting web page to PDF is smart option. You can easily save web pages as PDF documents using Google Chrome.

Saving these documents as PDF document will save a lot of work and time. Google chrome provides an option to save files as PDF Documents, you can also save PDF in other browsers but you have to install third party add-on for that purpose which is not a good option as they bring lots of ads with them.

How to save web pages as PDF using Google Chrome?

Step 1

First you need to install Google chrome on your PC. You can click here to download it from official website. If you have Chrome already installed on your PC, open it.

Step 2

Now go to the page that you want to save as PDF document. For example- you may need to save “online shopping receipt” or any banking form etc.

Step 3

Press Ctrl + P to go to print menu-

In print menu, if you see Save as PDF as Destination, just click on Save button. And if you see any other Destination like in the figure above, click on Change…

After clicking on Change… you will see the list of available destinations, select Save as PDF. Now you will see following screen. Click on Save button to save webpage as PDF document.

Now you see Save as PDF as Destination, just click on Save button.

Step 4

Select a destination folder to save PDF file. You can also change the name of the file.

Click on Save and you are done! You can find your file in the folder you selected.

You can test saved file by double-clicking it. It should open in Adobe Reader.
