You realize the importance of backups the most when you have none. Some PC manufacturers will have pre-installed software that will prompt you to create a backup, others may not. But it is very important to create a backup.

Because our electronic devices, despite many improvements, are still prone to unexpected behavior. In addition to taking regular backups of your PC content, it is advisable that you also create recovery discs for the operating system and drivers, in case your laptop didn’t come with the disc(s).

You should also, in addition, create a restore point from time to time so that you can restore your PC to the last working configuration if it crashes because of any hardware or software issues. So, after you remove bloatware to speed up your laptop PC, make sure to take a backup.
